None of these are usually dangerous, but they are hard to forget once you notice them.

We know it can feel difficult to book a procedure when you are not sure what will happen next. Your clinician will explain suitability, risks, recovery and aftercare before treatment goes ahead.
An in-person review with Dr Mugerwa: he will listen to your story and examine the area, which may include an ultrasound scan. You then get an honest recommendation: if treatment is suitable we explain the options, risks and likely outcomes; if it is not, we will tell you and refer you on.

Before any procedure, we explain what to expect from scarring, wound care, recurrence risk and follow-up. The method depends on the lesion type, its size, its location, your medical history and the cosmetic result we are aiming for.
Where clinically suitable, your consultation and procedure can be carried out in the same appointment, subject to assessment. You avoid a second trip, and you leave the clinic with the problem dealt with rather than another date in your diary.
Most procedures are carried out under local anaesthetic in our purpose-built surgical suite. You will feel pressure but should not feel sharp pain.
The procedure itself, followed by tailored aftercare guidance and a clear contact route if anything changes during recovery. You leave with clear written aftercare instructions and a phone number you can use if anything is not quite right.

Timings vary with the lesion and the body site. Any removal that breaks the skin leaves some mark; we cannot guarantee a scar-free result.
Where it is clinically appropriate, removed tissue may be sent for laboratory analysis (histopathology) as a safety check. This is discussed and agreed at consultation.
Histology is charged separately from the removal or biopsy procedure when clinically indicated. Skin biopsy fees below are the total laboratory fee for the stated number of specimens. Further staining or specialist examination may incur additional cost, which will be explained before proceeding.
